- New Feature: You can now reply to messages without using the keyboard thanks to a customizable list of reply templates such as "Thank you!", "Wait a moment", "Ask them to leave a message", etc. This feature is especially useful when your are on the phone.
- Bug Fix: When installed on computers with multiple Windows user accounts, OfficePopup might have sometimes display the following error messages upon startup:
- "Err: 0013 - Software protection error, Open backup registration info"
- "Err: 0006 - Software protection error: contact vendor"
- This issue has now been fixed.
OfficePopup 2.15, released on July 02, 2003, important update:
- Bug Fix: User names and other OfficePopup settings were not saved if OfficePopup was closed in a certain way. This issue has now been fixed.
- Improvement: In some cases, users who's computers were turned off remained in the recipients list. This issue has now been fixed.
OfficePopup 2.14, released on June 20, 2003, very important update:
- Bug Fix: Memory leak could have slowly consumed your computer's available memory if OfficePopup was running for long periods of time, such as several days in a row. This issue has now been fixed.
- Improvement: If, by some chance, the file that stores your messages becomes corrupted, OfficePopup will fix it for you by re-creating the corrupted file automatically.
- New Option: OfficePopup can now flash its icon in the system tray to notify you about new messages. This feature is deactivated by default and must be activated manually by going to "File - Preferences".
- New Option: You can now adjust UDP and TCP ports OfficePopup uses for communication. This is very useful in case other programs you use require the same ports.
- New Option: When you change your status to "Do Not Disturb", you will not be notified about new messages. However, you can now enforce visual and audible notifications no matter your status. This feature is deactivated by default and must be activated manually by going to "File - Preferences".
- Other Minor Improvement: If you try to open OfficePopup when it's already running, no error message will be displayed. Instead, the previously opened instance of the program will be shown.
